The Degree Apprenticeship initiative was set up by the Government in 2015 to address our Country’s skills gaps by offering training, whilst at the same time allowing employees to continue to work full time. Our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme does just that, it unlocks the potential of your existing Managers and Leaders by developing their knowledge, skills and behaviours, enabling them to drive performance and productivity improvements in your organisation. And by using Government funding, you can invest in your employees’ learning with no impact on your bottom line.
With up to 100% of the training funded by the Government, your employee remains in your full-time employment, spending 20% of their working hours studying. The 18 month programme is specifically designed to ensure a minimum time away from the workplace by using a combination of face to face, remote learning and online delivery, enabling your employee to remain within role, but at the same time develop their talent.
Designed for current or aspiring professional managers, your employee will develop well-rounded management skills by looking holistically across the business functions (Managing People, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Project Management, Digital Business and Technology, Decision Making) applying new knowledge to deepen their understanding. Work-based learning will be used as a powerful vehicle for developing workplace skills and promoting productivity and effectiveness across the team.
Our syllabus is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Successful completion of the programme will result in the award of the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, a University of Exeter BSc (Hons) in Responsible Business Management, and CMI Chartered Manager status.
By using your Apprenticeship Levy or Government Co-investment, you can fund Degree Apprenticeship programmes that create exciting new development and progression opportunities for you or your team.
