CREST is an internationally recognised accreditation body for the cyber security industry. Its accreditation process assesses both technical capability and operational processes, providing independent assurance that organisations meet recognised standards for security testing.
Penetration testing is used by organisations to identify and address security weaknesses before they can be exploited by attackers. It is commonly undertaken as part of compliance programmes, major technology projects, cyber risk management activities and supplier assurance requirements.
