The University of Exeter is pleased to be offering Devon and Cornwall-based organisations the opportunity to host students, on a fully-funded one-week internship in June 2020, through the Professional Pathways programme. We will be running the following programmes and companies will need to be within one of these sectors:
- Pathways to Arts, Culture and Heritage
- Pathways to Charity and Development
- Pathways to International Trade
- Pathways to Marketing
Below is an outline of the programme structure and you can also find further information here.
Monday 15 – Thursday 18 June 2020
Training – students undertake a 4-day training programme, consisting of both intensive sector training from experts and employability training provided by the University of Exeter.
Project – During the training, students will apply their skills to real-life scenarios and business challenges.
Monday 22 – Friday 26 June 2020
Internship – Each student will undertake a one-week internship with an employer, paid for by the University of Exeter.
We are now seeking local employers to host our students on a 1 week internship between 22 – 26 June 2020. This will be fully-funded by the University. The internship role must be full-time (35 hours) and be within one of the four Pathway sectors, use undergraduate level skills and aid students’ career development.
If you are able to host a student between 22 – 26 June 2020, please complete the short internship vacancy form for the relevant Pathway programme linked below, no later than the closing date on Friday 24 April 2020:
- Pathways to Arts, Culture and Heritage
- Pathways to Charity and Development
- Pathways to International Trade
- Pathways to Marketing
If you are interested in our Pathways to International Trade programme, please note this is run in partnership with Business West and the Department for International Trade (DIT). Spaces are limited, therefore internships will be offered to the most relevant export projects.
Once you have submitted your internship vacancy, this will be reviewed and you will be contacted by a member of the Professional Pathways Team, no later than 30th April 2020, to let you know if your vacancy has been accepted. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the team at [email protected].
