Students at Cornwall College St Austell have thrown their support behind Cornwall Hospice Care by producing a fantastic feast.

The Professional Cookery & Hospitality learners hosted a three course lunch in Cloisters restaurant for members of St Austell Fundraising Group for Cornwall Hospice Care.

Cloisters restaurant, which seats up to 70 guests, was full of members enjoying the food and Chair of the group, Angela Hurst, thanked everyone for supporting the event.

Level 3 Professional Cookery student at Cornwall College St Austell, Sikira Blight Bevan, said it was “wonderful to play host to the fundraising group”.

Foundation Learning students at Cornwall College St Austell, Chloe Bilson and Billy Junner, presented a cheque for £300 to Angela.

The money was raised by students and staff through the sale of second hand books and jigsaw puzzles and donations in the college shop.

There is a Course and Careers Advice Morning at Cornwall College St Austell on Saturday 14th March 10am until Midday where the campus is open for potential students and families to look around facilities and meet lecturers.
