The individual winners for this race were Charlotte Doney – Stoke Climsland School (Girls), Harrison Shaw – Tregadillett Primary School (Boys).

Charlotte Doney, said the race was “great fun and I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next race”.

Team Lead for Sports at Duchy College, Neil Harris, said the cross country league “is an amazing opportunity” for local primary school students to come together and race competitively.

“I was impressed with the children’s motivation to compete in quite challenging conditions,” he continued.

“Our Level 3 Sport students, along with Military and Protective Services Academy students at Duchy also gained some valuable hands on experience in setting up and helping to run this event.”
