Global laboratory diagnostics company Serosep has opened a new research and development facility at Exeter Science Park as it expands its UK business.
The company, which is a leading provider of diagnostic solutions, has opened a new Research and Development facility at the Science Park enabling it to identify and develop new practices and continue its pioneering work in the field of laboratory diagnostics.
Serosep is a laboratory diagnostics specialist in microbiology, histopathology and environmental testing. It manufactures and connects powerful performing diagnostic products and solutions to laboratory teams worldwide.
The facility at Exeter Science Park will enhance its research and development capabilities and also provide opportunities for collaboration with local universities, healthcare providers, and other Exeter Science Park-based companies.
Environmental Business Unit manager, Jo Gawler, said: “We are delighted to have opened our new lab at Exeter Science Park. We are looking forward to the opportunities this brings for the development of Serosep, as well as the potential to collaborate with other sector-related businesses based here.
“Our company’s head office and facility is in Limerick in Ireland and we have an additional facility in Crawley, so the proximity to Exeter Airport, as well as the other excellent transport links, were a key factor in choosing Exeter Science Park.”
