Budding young runners and their friends and family are invited to join in the fun of the IMERYS Marathon and Half Marathon by taking part in a short but challenging Fun Run.
A separate Fun Run will ensure every level and age of runner will have a fantastic time at Cornwall College St Austell on Sunday 20th of May.
This will be the seventh year that the College has played host to the start and finish of the popular event.
The Fun Run starts at 10.30am and is £3 to enter on the day; runners will receive a certificate and goody bag on completion of the one mile, which is set around the grounds of the College’s campus.
Head of Campus, Chris Taylor said: “We thoroughly enjoy welcoming local runners and their families to the College for this fantastic day, last year we had over 120 participants for the Fun Run which is fantastic!”
“The Fun Run gives children and adults a great taster of the joy of running. We hope that it will inspire those who have a go and eventually, when old enough, enter either the half marathon or the marathon themselves.”
Please note: Entrance Gates close at 9.45am to allow for the marathon runners, there is additional parking available at Poltair School and refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.
