The idea of Digital Skills roundtables was suggested by a college within the Partnership, keen to ensure the digital curriculum was developing in line with the needs of industry.
The format for the roundtables is an introduction from an inspiring digital employer (often the venue host) followed by a series of flash talks covering digital T-Levels, Apprentices, Tech Industry skills gaps and routes to in-workforce digital upskilling.
Each flash talk poses a question to the attendees that they discuss and work through as a group. The objectives of the events are to provide information but also bring employers and training providers together to network with a hope that the connections lead to continue working relationships.
