Creative students takeover Truro Cathedral

By | |

In celebration of student success, Truro Cathedral will host a special art and photography exhibition in June, to showcase the work of students from Cornwall College.

The varied work that makes up the exhibition will display the exceptional talent of the College’s aspiring creatives from both its Camborne and St Austell campuses.

Richard Squires, the study programme manager for photography, expressed his enthusiasm for the chance to “showcase the students’ skills and talents in the heart of Truro”.

“We’re really excited to present our learners work. They’ve been working incredibly hard in various art, design and photography disciplines to create captivating exhibits.”

Recognising the importance of providing young creative minds with a public platform, Richard added, “It’s truly significant for these students to have this opportunity, and we feel honoured to represent Cornwall College within such a prestigious setting.”

The exhibition will open for private viewings on Wednesday 21st June at 7pm, and welcome the public from Thursday 22nd of June, to Sunday 25th of June.
