SWIG Finance was recently awarded the accolade of Funder of the Year at the prestigious Insider South West Dealmakers Awards 2024.
The ceremony, held on 27th June at the Bristol Marriott celebrates the major transactions in the South West and the teams that made them happen. The event was compèred by Alex Zane and sponsored by Rathbones, Albert Goodman, Close Brother, Close Brothers Asset Management, Freeths, LDC and LGT Wealth Management.
Shortlisted alongside Shawbrook, OakNorth, The FSE Group and ThinCats, SWIG Finance were selected as the winner for their role in financing an array of small and medium-sized businesses in various parts of the region, as well as providing key finance via the British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund.
SWIG Finance, who have offices in Bristol, Exeter, Poole and Truro, provided 580 loans worth £14m last year to local businesses.
