A Sidmouth-based recruitment business has received a £250k boost from SWIG Finance to expand its geographical coverage.
Business Smart Solutions specialises in public sector recruitment, alongside consultancy and training services.
The business is led by Founder and CEO, Ben Moreton, who has more than 20 years of experience working with the public sector.
The business started in 2018 and has grown considerably over the last 6 years.
The loan is being made available for working capital to help secure new opportunities and drive further growth.
Ben Moreton said: “In the first 3 months since our loan, profit has increased by 20%. We are well and truly on track to achieve our ambitious 5-year growth plan, bringing jobs and opportunities to the South West. We chose to work with SWIG Finance because they are local, personable, and not a bank. From initial contact to loan approval, Rachael and the team worked tirelessly to get us the result we needed”.
