The latest round-up of news and events from our member, ICAEW

ICAEW South West Business Confidence Monitor: The latest ICAEW Business Confidence Monitor shows sentiment in the South West rising sharply from last quarter, outperforming the UK average, yet still below its long-term norm. Firms report strong domestic and export sales prospects and expect profits to grow next year. However, record concerns over the tax burden and regulatory pressures, alongside sticky input costs, are weighing on confidence. Employment and investment are picking up, and companies are planning further growth, especially in R&D.
