195th European Study Group with Industry (ESGI195)

ESGI is an opportunity for companies to connect withthe European Mathematical Sciences and Data Science community to tackle industrial and societal problems that may benefit from a mathematical approach.

During a one-week conference at the University of Exeter, experts from academia work intensively on your challenge, delivering fresh perspectives, mathematical models, and prototype solutions.

What You Provide

  • A mathamatical science or data science problem from your organisation developed in collaboration with ESGI organisers
  • Contribution to accomodation and subsistence of ESGI participants (£10k + VAT, discounts are available).
  • A short presentation of your challenge on the first day of ESGI
  • Availability for questions during the week of ESGI

What you Receive

  • Close expert support for your ESGI problem formulation
  • A dedicated team of mathematical scientists and data scientists working on your ESGI challenge for several days
  • A final presentation at the end of the week
  • A detailed final report including methods, results, and recommendations
  • Access to a network of European researchers and innovation experts
  • Access to dedicated follow-up funding from the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences
