For the third successful year, young actors in Cornwall are to put themselves in the frame again for a mystery murder performance.
The free, two-day summer school event will see keen young performers workshop a murder mystery scenario, before performing in front of friends and family.
Taking place with Launch Theatre and Performance Training at Cornwall College St Austell, current year 8, 9, 10 and 11 students from the St Austell area and beyond are invited to book their place.
Those that might be considering acting or a performing arts course, or those who “just love acting” are invited, according to performing arts lecturer, Lydia Day.
“This is a great way to meet the lecturers and find out what it’s like to be an acting student at Cornwall College and to tread the boards,” she continued.
“We’re going to be workshopping a murder mystery over two days so we’re going to need talented suspects!”
The event will run over Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of August from 10.00am until 4.00pm with a scratch performance for friends, parents and the community at 4pm in the Keay Theatre.
This opportunity is suitable for those aged 12 to 18. Places are limited and given last year’s popularity, booking is essential. Please get in touch to book your place or to find out more please contact [email protected]
