The Bank of England’s next quarterly Monetary Policy Report will be published on Thursday 11 May 2023.
They will be delivering a webinar on Monday 15 May and four in-person presentations. Each event will cover the Bank’s latest analysis and forecasts on GDP and demand, the labour market, inflation and the monetary policy response. There will be opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion after each presentation.
Details of the events are listed below:
Online webinar – Monday 15 May on MS Teams. The presentation will begin at 09:30 and finish by 10:30.
Exeter – Tuesday 16 May at Courtyard by Marriott, Sandy Park Way, Exeter, EX2 7NN. This presentation will be given by Andrew Bailey, Governor of the Bank of England. Refreshments will be available from 08:00, the presentation will start at 08:30 and finish at 09:30.
Gloucester – Thursday 18 May at the University of Gloucestershire Business School, Oxstalls Campus, Oxstalls Lane, Gloucester, Gloucestershire GL2 9HW. Refreshments will be available from 08:00, the presentation will start at 08:30 and finish at 09:30.
Truro – Friday 19 May at Stephens Scown, Osprey House, Malpas Road, Truro, Cornwall TR1 1UT. Refreshments will be available from 08:00, the presentation will start at 08:30 and finish at 09:30.
Swindon – Tuesday 23 May at Monahans, Hermes House, Fire Flay Avenue, Swindon, Wiltshire SN2 2GA. Refreshments will be available from 08:00, the presentation will start at 08:30 and finish at 09:30.
