We were delighted to collaborate recently with the Bank of England on three events across the South West in June, helping to bring businesses and economic decision-makers together:
- On 18 June, we joined Bank of England Regional Agent Malindi Myers as guest speakers at an event organised by SWBC member Cathedral Appointments.
- On 19 June, we attended a Bank of England briefing delivered by Professor Alan Taylor, a member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee, hosted at SWBC member Bishop Fleming’s Plymouth offices.
- Later that day, we organised a lunch briefing with Professor Taylor at the offices of SWBC member Womble Bond Dickinson, providing a further opportunity for regional business leaders to engage in valuable economic discussion.
We were delighted to facilitate and co-organise these events as they reflected the importance of collaboration and open dialogue between the Bank of England and the South West business community, ensuring that regional perspectives and experiences are heard and understood.
