PCI compliance has undergone its biggest evolution since 2018 with the introduction of PCI DSS V4.0, and the scale of the changes is more than even we expected. When our PCI QSAs attended the transition training last year, they described it as ‘mind-blowing’…

Why the changes to PCI DSS matter for finance professionals

For finance professionals who find PCI compliance landing on their desks, there’s a huge challenge ahead. First, in understanding what’s changing. Next, in knowing what you need to do – then in ensuring the changes are implemented across your organisation.

And the countdown has already begun, so if you aren’t yet familiar with the changes PCI DSS V4.0 has introduced and what they mean for you, you could be storing up significant problems. There is a long road ahead to understanding and making the required changes to achieve compliance.

The problem with existing guidance

However, existing guidance about the changes is very technical, long and hard to digest. For the finance professionals who find themselves responsible for PCI compliance but don’t have the technical background to unpick all of the details, getting to grips with the changes is going to be challenging, to say the least.

That’s why Securious – the South West’s leading cyber security company and a PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor Company with a team of experienced QSAs – is hosting a free webinar for finance professionals, to help you get up to speed with the changes in just 30 minutes (45 if you include the Q&A session at the end).
