Building Plymouth is a Council led partnership with local construction and built environment stakeholders’ that aims to link local people with jobs and apprenticeships, training and career opportunities.

Working in close partnership with industry, training and education providers, schools, employment intermediaries and the local community, this innovative partnership aims to:

  • increase local awareness of careers in the sector

The Building Plymouth initiative was set up as a city-wide ‘call to action’ to engage local stakeholders’ to work together to create practical solutions to reduce the skills gaps and skills shortages facing the construction and built environment sector.

Join us for our annual Building Plymouth Summit to hear about progress during 2018 and our priorities ahead. Speakers include: Cllr Tudor Evans – City Leader, Emma Hewitt – Building Plymouth, Lynn Harris – Eggbuckland Community College and Michelle Cole – Midas Construction.
