You are invited to attend the 2022 Sculpture Exhibition at Stone Lane Gardens near Chagford in Devon on the afternoon or evening of Friday 1st July 2022, opening with Sir Tim Smit of the Eden Project at 3 pm.

There has been a sculpture exhibition at Stone Lane Gardens since 1992. Many of its early exhibitors are now well known, Peter Randall-Page RA and Tolkien illustrator Alan Lee for example.

Last year Nick Parker, recent chair of the Fellowship at the Royal Society of Arts, reinvigorated the exhibition as a place for emerging South West artists to exhibit good, new, abstract contemporary work; his motivation being his experience of the need for creativity in organisations to drive innovation and change.

Stone Lane, a charitable trust, is a 20 acre Birch and Alder arboretum water garden on the northern edge of Dartmoor. It has the national collection of Birch and is an RHS associate garden. Its style is ‘tamed wilderness’. It is a peaceful, tranquil, gently soulful place with wellbeing at its heart.
