City College Plymouth will be joining forces with the University of Plymouth and Plymouth College of Arts to organise this FREE event to give businesses a taste of some of the exciting new courses on offer which are tailored to business needs.
The event, which is funded by the European Social Fund, is open to both employers and employees of businesses within Plymouth and the wider Devon area. Delegates will then be able to choose between three separate taster courses:
Strategic Workforce Planning – University of Plymouth
How can you make sure you have the workforce needed to fully achieve what you’ve set out in your business plan? Learn how to plan for workforce development as your business grows with tips on allocating and delegating responsibilities and using training to address recruitment issues.
Smartphone Filmmaking – City College Plymouth
Making short promos for web and social media or shooting internal comms films using your smartphone. Get your message out to customers or colleagues using quick, easy technology and some of our useful tips on framing, sound recording and editing.
Digital Design and Manufacture – Plymouth College of Art
Support your business and professional growth using digital design and manufacturing with Fab Lab Plymouth. You will leave this session with an in-depth understanding of how your business’ potential could grow using the power of digital design, prototyping and manufacture.
