CSW Group are delighted to announce that the 2018 Big Bang South West regional fair will be held on Wednesday 27th June 2018 at the Conference and Exhibition Centre at the University of the West of England (UWE)in Bristol.

Working in partnership with UWE Bristol, The West of England Combined Authority, and the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) we are pleased to bring this prestigious regional celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) to a brand new venue for 2018. This exciting new space offers us the opportunity to enhance the experience gained by young people and schools attending and to increase the range of hands-on STEM related activities.

The 2018 event will host an amazing array of engaging activities under one roof, including; a show stage featuring live science shows, interactive hands-on exhibits and activities showcasing businesses from across the region, and the chance to find out more about careers and opportunities in STEM related sectors.

The event is open to primary and secondary schools and home-schooled children.

Alongside the shows and exhibits the event will also host the finals of the prestigious ‘South West Young Scientist’ and ‘Young Engineer of the Year’ competitions, culminating in a glittering awards ceremony. The winners will represent the region at the National finals in March 2018 at the NEC Birmingham.
