Securious is delighted to announce that Pete Woodward, Founder and CTO of leading South West cyber security company Securious, is now taking on the role of CEO to further drive the business forward after a strong period of growth.
As CEO, Pete will focus on the development of Securious’ product and service offering to make sure the business continues to meet the evolving needs of its clients. Pete has overseen all key client accounts until now, developing a deep understanding of Securious’ customers, their needs and the wider cyber security market. He has over 18 years of cyber and data security experience and has advised hundreds of organisations in the UK and internationally, working on security projects in the public and private sectors.
As part of the move, Roz Woodward, Securious Founder and former CEO, will be taking on the position of Finance Director and additionally will be responsible for operations. Roz is an experienced business professional and qualified accountant with considerable experience working in senior management positions and at board level.
She’s driven the business through a period of strong growth, especially during the pandemic, with a focus on helping communicate technical information to business leaders in a non-technical way. With an increasing number of clients, Roz’s skills are now required to ensure the business is in the right shape to continue to grow while overseeing the smooth delivery of projects from the team.
