Employers who are working in partnership with City College Plymouth to train apprentices are invited to sample foods from around the world at a special event at the College’s PL1 training restaurant.
The College’s hospitality and catering apprentices will be serving up a selection of international cuisines on Tuesday 4 February, 4.30pm – 5.30pm, which will allow them to demonstrate their developing skills while also offering an opportunity for businesses to get together.
Pauline Hands, Director of Marketing, Business Engagement & Apprenticeships, said: “The College is hosting this event as part of National Apprenticeship Week, which is when employers are invited to celebrate and share the success of their apprentices. We would also welcome anyone who is considering hiring an apprentice and would like to find out more.
“The event will also provide a good networking opportunity and the chance to liaise with other businesses currently employing apprentices.”
The event is free but those wishing to attend are asked to reserve their place by e-mailing [email protected] or calling Kirsty on 01752 305026.
