BT teams up with the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards to support small businesses during Covid 19

By | |

Over the past few weeks, many of us have seen our worlds turned upside down. As entrepreneurs, while we’re already used to dealing with setbacks and having to masterfully pivot, this set of challenges is unique in that people are collaborating more than ever

Fresh Business Thinking, an online resource for business owners, directors and entrepreneurs has a number of expert practitioners and seasoned entrepreneurs who write for the publication regularly and support all initiatives that we launch to champion entrepreneurialism.

In this challenging landscape, where business owners are searching for information and clarity more than ever, we decided to make the most of that ‘hive mind’, calling upon the experience and expertise within our network to share ideas, advice, anecdotes and opinions via a virtual series of events for small businesses navigating COVID:19.

Fresh Business Thinking is thrilled to partner with BT on this initiative to connect business decision makers with near real time information and peer to peer support. The series has been supported by some incredible entrepreneurs including the founders of King of Shaves, Covent Garden Soup Company and Cobra Beer, as well as industry experts covering finance, HR, and sales & marketing in these challenging times.

Fresh Business Thinking are proud to partner with BT, who are leading the way in supporting people and businesses with the skills they need and to stay connected during the Covid-19 crisis.

BT Skills for Tomorrow programme was launched in 2019 to reach 10 million people, families and businesses across the UK with help to improve their digital skills by 2025. With the spread of the coronavirus, having the right digital skills to do business online is more important than ever. That’s why BT developed new learning content and is working with a range of brilliant partners, such as Great British Entrepreneur Awards to run a host of free webinars with experts to help SMEs cope.

These online courses will help SME owners and their employees improve their digital skills through new online tools, social media advice and new digital tips and tricks, empowering them with the skills they need today during these challenging times.

Our Skills for Tomorrow website also brings together a series of free business-focused courses.
