What We Do

Working in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, Local Economic Partnerships and complementing the services offered by these and other key representative organisations within the region and beyond, we;

a. provide a well-informed, coherent and authoritative voice to represent the business interests of the South West.

b. work across local, regional and national Government, helping to ensure that the strategic interests of the South West are clearly represented and that the best decisions are made to deliver sustainable economicprosperity for the region.

c. work in support of member and partnerpriorities to help to achieve collective goals & aspirations.

d. connect the South West with other regions and cities across the UK and internationally, shrinking geographies, opening up new opportunities and elevating the region on the global stage.

We are also a membership organisation. We work with senior business leaders across the region and with ambitious businesses of any size and from any sector. We have personal, trusted and long-standing relationships with our members. We support our members by mobilising our network and contacts and sharing intelligence on items of interest.

Above all, we connect people – either via our quarterly conferences, our Annual Dinner, discreet brokerage and influence, or through the combined private sector community of over 40,000 businesses represented by the sub regional organisations on our Advisory Board.
