Sector engagement roundtable event

Date:
18/03/2019

TIME: 4:00 pm — 7:00 pm
VENUE: Broadclyst Community Primary School, School Lane, Broadclyst, Exeter, EX5 3JG

Summary

This is an opportunity to engage with other local employers and gain awareness of the myriad of STEM related educational engagement opportunities in the South West. This will allow you to discuss the challenges that you may face with recruitment of STEM skills in your organisation and also to consider how you may be able to engage and inspire students who may well be your future workforce. This meeting will have a focus on the renewable energy and digital sectors because of their regional importance to growth in the area. In the meeting you will hear from STEM Learning and EngineeringUK about solutions they may be able to offer, and we invite Local Enterprise Partnerships and Careers Enterprise Hubs from across the South West to discuss how we may come up with a coherent and collaborative approach to narrowing the STEM skills gap.
