TIME: 1:00 pm — 4:00 pm
VENUE: Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth, Devon, PL6 8BX
PRESENTED BY: Plymouth Marine Laboratory

You are invited to the Plymouth launch event of The Environmental Futures & Big Data Impact Lab on Friday, 08 February, 13:00-16:00, at the Plymouth Science Park (Baylis Suite).  Register by Wednesday the 6th of February.

The Environmental Futures & Big Data Impact Lab project brings together Devon’s leading research centres to help Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) create innovative products and services through funded support options and the possibility to access additional grant funding.

This launch event will provide detail on the “Impact Lab” initiative, what’s on offer, how to access funded support as well as example case studies.

You will be welcomed by Professor Iain Stewart MBE, Director of the Sustainable Earth Institute at the University of Plymouth and presenter of science programmes for the BBC, notably the BAFTA nominated “Earth: The Power of the Planet”. He will be joined by Dr Antonio Rago from the University of Plymouth and other speakers from Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth City Council and the University of Exeter.

A further interactive panel discussion will provide an opportunity for questions and discussion, followed by networking (full agenda below).

We are keen to meet you and hear your thoughts, or perhaps about a project or business that you would like to refer to us.

Looking forward to meeting with you,

The Plymouth Impact Lab Team
