Firm turning discarded plastic into toys wins FT2G

Good Things wins FT2G 2019!

Thursday’s pitch event at Buckfast Abbey saw Good Things the South Brent based company which provides gifts which make a difference was announced the winner of £10,000 worth of ongoing business support from the Fast Track to Growth Partners.

One & Eight the Totnes based jewellery company were crowned runner-up and will be supported as they expand into the export market.

Since the Business Festival in April FT2G, Devon’s free growth programme has supported large and small Devon-based businesses.

20 finalist businesses were selected for the Intensive Programme. Congratulations to all of the finalists on their achievements over the past two months.

Lucy Willoughby of Good Things impressed the judges at the Finale Pitch event as she demonstrated her passion and commitment to business growth.

Good Things sources and sells ethical, fair trade and sustainable gifts for children from around the world, including toy boats made from discarded plastic bottles and fairly made eco-friendly cotton animals.

The FT2G partners are excited to work with Good Things as they prepare for their online launch on July 15th 2019.
